Hi, I’m Angela Dixon—a watercolor artist, aspiring illustrator and graphic designer based in Texas. I specialize in painting charming buildings, vibrant flowers, and peaceful landscapes. My creative journey is fueled by a love for storytelling through art, and I’m passionate about bringing scenes to life with color and detail.
I am the founder of Perky Palette a nonprofit for art. We are extremely excited and blessed to be on a journey to make the world a more colorful place.
I am a certified Holistic Art Therapy Practitioner. I believe art is a powerful starting point for self-healing, emotional expression, and mental well-being.

I love painting with family and friends. For my Mothers birthday we went to a paint studio to try acrylic paint pouring. We had a blast.

My husband and I were special guest at the Post Texas Rotary. It was a wonderful day to share with friends our story about purching the Garza Theatre and our goals for the nonprofit Perky Palette.

I always wanted a custom plate for my little car, this year I got it. It took me a while to come up with something to show off my love for watercolor. Do you get it? H2o Color. The "o" looks like a 0, but I am still happy with it.

I was extremely honored to sell the city of Post three painting for them to present to 3 members of the city who retired this year (2025). I love the city of Post, they are so friendly and sweet. We have made so many friends and couldn't be happier to have our nonprofit in this beautiful city.
