I was inspired by an old church building in Post Texas. This church was acquired by new owners. I love watching these old building come to life with new ideas and dreams. I had to paint it.
I love pink. Fair to say Opera Rose is one of my favorite colors. I sat down to paint and added this pink to create a bright sky.
Buildings amaze me. When I see cute little shops, I wonder how many people have been in them.
I found this in a book and I wanted to try it. I enjoy drawing buildings, but painting them is the fun part.
I have so many reference pictures saved on my cell phone. I just picked one and did this really quick. I wanted to see how I liked these colors together. After I was done, I really liked the quick painting I had created.
I love this sign in Post Texas. I had to paint it. Behind the sign is a McDonalds, I left it out. I was craving fries the whole time I painted it.
I found a picture of shoes from the 20's and I was inspired. I gave it a try. I added the flowers and a little bit of flair. Even though I enjoy looking at shoes, I would rather be in a pair of flip flops.
I wanted to try out some paint markers. I turned on the TV and doodled these cute butterflies.
I enjoy funky flowers and leaves. The black background brings out the bright flowers.
If you know me at all, I love cacti. I have planted so many and you can find me outside talking to them.
I did this painting while following along a video online with Sketching with Scotty. He teaches urban sketching.
I enjoy building, but sometimes I just want to paint flowers. I love bright pinks and crazy leaves.
This painting I wanted to use blue for leaves. The contrast of blue with the color of the flowers looks so amazing.
Doodling is also a little bit of a hobbie. I wanted to mix watercolor in with my doodling.
Yupo paper is extremely interesting. This was a Tiktok made me try it and it was worth it. It is very different from cotton paper, but gives some amazing effects.
I followed along with Emily Olson who is a very popular YouTuber. Her online classes are very informative and I have learned several things through watching her videos.
